I’m Wearing: Caché Biker Jacket, Hinge Tank, Labijou Red Leggings scored at T. J. Maxx (similar), Henri Bendel scarf, Elliott Lucca clutch, Michael Kors Gold Bracelet Watch, Caché bracelet, chain bracelet (old). Photography by Emory Photography.

We’re in that icky “transition” between winter and spring. It’s so hard to decide what to wear. I thought this was middle of the road – not too wintery and not too spring/summer. After all, we still have six inches of snow on the ground! It’s supposed to be in the 40′s this weekend, so no need for that heavy winter coat. I’m so over winter coats!

This is the little leather biker jacket I got at Caché. I wore it first here. I love it so much. I think the trick to choosing the perfect biker is finding the right length. I tried on about a dozen jackets before I settled on this one. The cropped styling is the best on me to help define my “non-existent” waist. And how about this awesome Henri Bendel scarf? I splurged on it while I was in New York for the BlogHer conference last August. The flagship Henri Bendel store on 5th Avenue is DREAMY. If you’re ever out there and have the time, you must stop in!

What do you have going this weekend? We’re going to a Caribbean beach calypso party with a bunch of our neighborhood friends. We’re all going to wear our summer clothes, have some tropical drinks and pretend we’re on an island somewhere far, far away from cold, grey Chicago! I like the sounds of it already!!!

Hi Ali Cat! Hope you had a great and productive weekend! I’m just so happy that I got to meet you at the conference even though it was just for a short time! Thanks for reading the blog and commenting. I appreciate it! Regarding the legs, as I say, you’ve got to work what you’ve got!:)
