What I Wore: Bundled Up

I’m Wearing: Calvin Klein Wool Coat (similar), BCBGMaxazria Jeans, Nordstrom Tissue Weight Wool & Cashmere Wrap Womens Red One Size One Size, Bandolino Flats (similar), Cynthia Rowley Tote from T.J. Maxx

We’ve been having an unusually mild winter here in Chicago. The day I wore this it was 41 degrees. That’s why I could get away with wearing my flats with no socks! I don’t know why, but I just don’t like wearing socks with flats. How about you?

I love these little shoes. At first I thought I’d be limited with what I could wear them with and I almost took them back, but I’m so glad I didn’t. They make a statement and any more animal print is almost like a neutral. I’m seeing animal prints mixed with everything from stripes to pastels. Yes, I said pastels! More outfit ideas…

Happy Friday and a long weekend for some of us too…yippee!

You made my day! I am SO incredibly flattered to be one of your selected bloggers! Sounds like so much fun, and did I read that I even get a badge for my site? Goody, goody!!!

Euwwww….NEVER socks with flats. No tights either…only footless tights if necessary. I don’t care how cold it is out. I only wear those “Hue” teenie tiny little footies that are completely invisible and prevent blisters. If your feet are cold wear oxfords or boots, for heaven’s sake!

Speaking of animal print plus pastel…I saw in the window of the Gap this week pastel animal print scarves. Not a wintery keep-you-warm scarf…just a little pop of color around the neck, wear-it-with-a-t-shirt kind of scarf. I’m not even a Gap fan….but these looked really cute: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=71027&vid=1&pid=351968022

Thanks for the link to the scarves. Love them! Great pop of color for the spring. Scarves are an instant update to any outfit. The perfect accessory!
