I’m Wearing: Boston Proper Top, White House Black Market Crops, Naot Sandals (similar), Bujibaja straw tote, Ray-Ban Sunnies
Wow, what a difference a thousand miles makes! Back home in Chicago it’s highs in the teens and down here in southeast Florida we’re looking at low 80′s! What a welcome departure from the cold and gloom up north! It was tough switching gears from dressing for brutal cold to warmth, but I managed!
When I’m on vacation with the kids, I tend to be totally casual. In fact, it was difficult to come up with an outfit for the blog that wasn’t just your basic t-shirt and cut-offs.
I wore this outfit to dinner last night. Since I’m always trying to travel light (my husband would laugh if he heard me say that), I like to bring items that will mix and match. I ordered this top out of Boston Proper a couple seasons ago. I love the crocheting and white of course goes with everything.
My sandals are made by Naot. If you haven’t tried Naots, I highly recommend them. They are so comfortable, have great support and are stylish too. I have trouble with plantar fasciitis if I walk too far in flat sandals. These sandals keep my feet happy and look good too. They’re a little on the pricey side, but they’re well worth it. They last forever and some styles even have cork soles that can be replaced when their cushioning wears out.
I picked up this comfortable and functional tote at the Barney’s outlet in Orlando last spring. I love it because it also doubles as a great beach bag. It adds a welcome splash of color to any outfit.
These pictures are for my friends who’re freezing up north. Sorry, I just have to rub it in!!
