I’m always up for new healthy smoothie recipes.
I shared my favorite green smoothie recipe with you here.
Recently, my brother-in-law sent me a new recipe for a green smoothie he found on Fit2Fat2Fit.com. When I saw it had peanut butter in it, I was reluctant to try it. I don’t know why, I just didn’t think peanut butter would taste good mixed with greens.
Boy, was I wrong.
This smoothie rocks!
Fit2Fat2Fit Spinach Shake Recipe
1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
3 cups of spinach
2 Tbsp of peanut butter
Approximately 2/3 cup of unsweetened almond milk
Approximately 3 handfuls of ice
I find you always have to tweak these recipes to your taste. I used 3 large kale leaves instead of spinach, 2 small ripe bananas instead of 1/2 banana (more sugar, I know…) and it tasted great!

You’ve got to give it a try. It’s so YUMMY!
From green smoothies to beauty serum…
Of course I’ve seen the beautiful Cindy Crawford doing her infomercials for Meaningful Beauty a million times, but I’d never tried it. Truth be told, I work with a cosmetologist/esthetician and I trust her to all my skin care needs. But I’m always up for trying new things, so I was definitely game for giving the Meaningful Beauty serum a try.
The Meaningful Beauty line was developed by Dr. Sebaugh. Dr. Sebaugh is an internationally-acclaimed skin specialist. It contains three powerful anti-aging ingredients: superantioxidant melon complex, anti-aging peptides and hyaluronic acid.
I used the Meaningful Beauty serum for two weeks.
I really liked the texture of the serum. It went on very smooth and felt nice on my skin. And a little bit went a long way. One or two pumps and I was set.
After only two days, I noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin. It felt smoother and decidedly more hydrated. According to the Meaningful Beauty website, the serum is formulated to have “rich moisturizing effects and…increase hydration”. It really did make a difference in my skin’s hydration.
Beyond the hydrating affects and the improved texture of my skin, I really didn’t notice any improvements. Namely, the wrinkles and fine lines on my face didn’t show any marked improvement.
Overall, I think the serum works well to improve hydration, but I think I would want to supplement it with another anti-aging product that helps eliminate the look of fine lines. That said, I think the serum is a good value. For only $39.95 plus S&H, you get the serum, day cream, eye lifting cream and décoletté and neck cream. That’s a pretty good deal.
I received the Meaningful Beauty Serum sited above complimentary from Influenster for review proposes. All opinions are mine own.
